We had an activity during training that made me reminisce of someone. Her name was Faith Ann (last name witheld for protection), we became classmates back in 4th grade and she was a silent one. I remember back then that Faith would just sit on the room and just be her silent self, she was just there.
Valentines day came and I was surprised that I got a card from Faith and she was admitting that she had feelings for me, I don't know what to do back then since I was still a kid and still not mature enough to know what is love. So I just accepted it and said thanks, I got home and showed it to my dad and he in turn made me embarrased to a point that I was blushing like a bus load of priests in a little league game.
Dad suggested to give her in turn a card to show my appreciation so I got her one, with a help from my yaya Linda. I remember what the card looked like, it was a plain white card with nothing fancy on it just the words I LOVE YOU and a simple message on it. I got it, put her name on it and gave it to faith the next day. I did not know what got into her but she seems not to respond to it, maybe a bit shy about it but I think it worked because after that she seems to be more close to me than ever, you might say that she was my first official girlfriend in my life.
Truth be told that nothing lasts forever, so as any good relationships end, ours ended. It ended on a rather funny note. We ended our relationship because we graduated primary education and we were moving on to high school, I was transferring to another school and she was staying at the same school. So it ended just like any other relationships, but it was great. I wish I could see her again and maybe just maybe start things over again.
